Poltergeist Again.

  • Jun. 27th, 2008 at 2:28 AM
Okay, *what* is it about adolescent people that causes them to generate Poltergeist energy?
Do I have it?
Am I aging backwards, like Merlin?

It was not too many months ago that this happened before, right?

So, I'm lying here reading. In my basement room. Nothing is moving. No weight is shifting. There are no cats down here. I am not moving. There is no air current.

A book decides to just fall out of a shelf. I refuse to be perplexed. In fact I do not look up from reading.

Another one falls.

I put them back, pick up the treo and write this.

Any thoughts?

Heat Sickness... Silver Lining

  • Jun. 21st, 2008 at 12:17 PM
Okay, on the walk back from dropping my car off at the corner shop for the AC repair, I got a touch of heat sickness. Fortunately, the gods rolled the dice well this time, and instead of the usual gut wrenching horror (which makes driving long distances in the summer so Vietnam War intensive) I got the kinder gentler heat sickness which is quite psychedelic.

It started as my head got to swimming in the 79 degree 55% humidity air. Someone's generator in the distance began to sound like the opening notes of The End by the Doors.

It all went rather strange after that.
AC in my car died.

I hope it only needs a refill and isn't something more dire.

Driving all the way across town will be a no-no until I get life support repaired.

When I had NO HEAT in my car, it was *fine* most of the winter... but THIS is serious.
